WHAT ARE THE HIGH DESERT GAMES?

This is a unique annual competition that changes themes and concepts each year. This year its a MAD MAX theme and there are 2 events- you can do them together or separate. A Run/Ruck portion, and a Lift/ Drag/ Carry portion. There are also 2 divisions Expert (RX) and Novice (scaled) division.

WHATS THE PURPOSE OF THE HDG?

We're dedicated to uplift our community and encourage the diverse athletes of our valley to meet, train and work together. This is another chance to train for something fun and come together for a good cause .

SHOULD I DO THIS DAMN THING?

If you are training to become better, stronger, faster or to have more fun, then the answer is yes. If you aspire to say yes to more things and need a reason to get out more, the answer is yes. There are 2 divisions: Expert (RX) and Novice (scaled). There is also an option to do the "Full Games" or just the "Run/Ruck portion".

CAN I DO IT SOLO?

This is a partnered event by design. Many of the "workouts" are created with 2 partners relying on one another, however if you want to just do the RUN/RUCK portion of the event you can do it solo and still have a blast. There will be no awards for a solo division.
